JOHN RICHARDSON | SURREALIST
Chance Poem
When the streetcar is a butcher
rebellion is a vegetable
When the lion is water
honour is an acquaintance
When eroticism is bellowing
people are extraordinary
When the sheriff is genuine
the funeral is unavoidable
When the gardeners are obscure
the silhouettes are acoustic
When the atmosphere is lyrical
the phonebook is indifferent
When the bride is revolutionary
the question is stimulating
